How much do you pay?

How much we can pay depends on the market demand and current price trends which can change on an hourly basis. We can determine that amount once we can view what you’d like to sell and check the latest prices and trends.

I’m not sure if I’m ready to sell yet. Can I just get an idea of what I have first?

Absolutely. We’re happy to provide an opinion of value for anything you show us. There’s never an obligation to sell anything.

Can you provide a written appraisal for insurance or other purposes?

We can, under most circumstances, provide a written appraisal report. There is a fee to provide this service. Informal reports, where we verbally discuss values are free of charge.

Do I need to bring the collection to you?

In most cases, we are happy to come visit with you at a chosen location, typically your home or office, to discuss your collection. There’s no need to take the risk of carrying around something valuable and there’s no cost for us to come visit.

Why don’t you provide an address? Are you really local?

We’ve been in Wilmington for over 30 years and regularly travel to see customers from Topsail and Jacksonville, down to Carolina Beach, Southport, Holden Beach and even into South Carolina. We’ve looked at collections as far away as Raleigh. We don’t list our address as a simple security measure since we often deal with valuables, and therefore encourage people to text or call us to discuss their collections.
